Nehemiah

When Elsie Jayne was tiny and I was battling demons of loneliness and loss of identity, Jesus took me to Nehemiah 4:14 and gave us His Word to hold onto together. We would march around our cinderblock house with Lucy in my tummy and do big motions with our Scripture memory, "Don't be afraid of the enemy! Remember the LORD, Great and Glorious, and FIGHT for your friends, your families and your homes."

Well, that little angel turns 11 this week and the boarders have been expanded. Four more babies, two new continents and Jesus has faithfully defeated the enemy countless times and been present on more occasions than our overflowing cups can hold.

This week again, He has led me to this Scripture...eyes on Jesus, and trust Me!

Not sure what your fears are today. Don't know if you have some memory loss of God's Great Goodness of the past. May I be a voice in your day to say, keep Fighting. He is still good. He is still faithful and He is still completing the Good work He's begun in you.
