On Billy's birthday he celebrated with a meal at home with friends and then they all went to watch a soccer match at a local hotel!
Manchester United won!!!

Rachel, Joel with Sophie, Benard, Florence, and James
The girls are schooling five days a week!
Everyone around us is on the British system so kids are expected to be in school from three years old. Lucy will not be left behind, so Monday, Wednesday, Friday we have school here in the mornings alone and then on Tuesday and Thursday we enjoy school with Tim!
This was the first section of the T/Th class on the Armor of God!

When Daddy left for a ten day journey, we had to get pretty organized to keep four little ones going all day...this is Uncle Simon teaching Lucy to sweep the yard! Yes, we sweep the yard each morning...so it looks smart! When in Uganda, do as the Ugandans do! :) Nice work, Lucy!!!
Elsie Jayne LOVES helping with the washing up! I'm SO THANKFUL!!!!!!!!
Chloe and Sophie...they really can smile, but can't sort out why they should smile at the big black box of a camera!!!
Elsie Jayne, so pleased with her new dress!...We bought fabric thinking we were getting Easter Dresses made, but they were made in record time, so we have new Sunday clothes for Lent!
Lucy's lovely new dress!
Chloe is happy to welcome visitors for us.
This is Chloe with Mama Joyce.

The twins with Jennifer and Dominique...good friends passing through on their way to Kampala and back to school.
Hoping to catch a smile on film...the girls saying good-bye to daddy before his long journey!
Sophia Anne Coppedge...A SMILE!!
David was with us for Sunday worship in our living room the Sunday daddy was traveling. He really enjoyed our toys and playing with Lucy Mae.
After "church" we went to a local hotel for lunch and to play! This is Jane and Meg with all of our kids...except for three...Benjamin wandered away and the twins were resting!
Chloe Catherine Coppedge...she is still unsure about this camera thing! She has a great smile though!!
Elsie Jayne LOVED having Jonathan over for the whole day to play!
Lucy has recently decided she loves "tying" up her hair!
I love it too!
Lucy and Chloe and I spent Monday afternoon helping some of our friends move. We carried their belongings in our car at least...other than that we were more of a distraction than a help!
Chloe loved meeting David's mother who was visiting and helping with the move!
The dynamic duo, again!
My friend Faida has opened a shop in town selling children's clothes.
She hadn't yet met the twins (I don't take them to town a lot) but while daddy was gone, Jane and I traveled to town with all four girls one afternoon to meet Faida. She was DELIGHTED!!!

So that was a lot of February...more from the beginning of March soon.
Do pray with us as Friday we head out on an adventure!
We travel to Entebbe by car and then overnight. Saturday we fly to Nairobi, Kenya and on Monday we drive south near the TNZ boarder for Sudan Team Vision Meeting Monday through Wednesday!
From there back to Uganda, but staying in the south for meetings and the following week our WGM field retreat...should be an exciting three week journey with four girlies!
Jesus has so many good things in store...pray amidst the craziness we are a LIGHT for HIM!

Joanna- Your girls are so beautiful! It seems as if God is doing mighty things through your family! Praying for God's hand to continually move through you all!

Hello Billy and Joanna!
It's been a long time though I haven't stopped praying for your ministry. I have to admit I haven't been good at following your blog but I have never doubted that your ministry would be fruitful.
Speaking of that, I listened to Billy's senior chapel sermon today. I know, that's also a long time ago. However, I think I have told you before but that sermon has been very formative (if that is a word) for me. Powerful and very potent, I believe its message to be crucial, especially now that we are moving to Norway after 5 years in Sweden to pastor a small but vibrant Methodist church fulltime. So, thanks for that.
Working on finding a way to support your ministry with money as well. We'll see how that can be done smoothly.
Trying to abide and sometimes succeeding,
Andreas Kjernald
