Pictures from our travels...

We have been traveling in Tanzania and Congo for the last five weeks! We are tired, but we have learned much Swahili and have had great conversations with pastors interested in the possiblity of Bible storytelling.  Some pictures from our travels...

While in Tanzania, we got to be real tourists on the weekends!
That was so fun for all of us!

A friend from Billy's language class, Diane went with us to see Ngorongoro Crater and
we had the BEST time!
We saw so many animals in such a short time...the African Big Five: Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant
as well as Cheetah, Zebra, Wildebeest, Hyena, Jackal, Hippos, Flamingos, Ostrich, and more!

The girls really enjoyed their class at language school.
Elsie Jayne's teacher was Fatuma pictured here with the girls and Sophia, below was Lucy's teacher!
Both girls picked up some Swahili and are enjoying using it now here in Congo!

In between our two major stops, we had two nights in Kampala, Uganda. Jesus has helped and there is peace in the city! Praise Him!  Our friends Jeff and Katie Borchet and their kids Fatu and Osobie took us in...I'm sorry we didn't get their picture....but the girls did LOVE their dress up dresses
and their puppy dog, Kenya!
The Lord is opening relationships here in Congo. Dino Mozart is a friend from a few years ago...we have enjoyed reconnecting with his family and Lucy was thrilled to meet
someone about her size in his neice, Deborah.
Dino and his wife Sephora have a heart for widows and orphans...
We got to go to a school they have built to care for the orphans!
They have over 200 students that they are educating here in Bunia, Congo!
This is part of their lovely family.
Sephora is in the blue on the left and her sister is to the right of Dino.
This is only half of their kids!
They have four biological children and four they have taken in.
Such a lovely family!
 The girls with Uncle Dino!
This is the girlies taking a break in the backyard of our compound here in Bunia...we are staying in the home of an American family that is involved in Bible translation. They have been so generous to open their home to us.  Our dear friend Sarah who used to live in Arua, lives here in Bunia too and has been a great help in connecting us with pastors and friends interested in what Jesus might do through Bible Storytelling in their circles of influence. We are here until the 25th...pray with us that Jesus fills each day as He desires and we walk in the Spirit and hear His leading step by step. He is faithful and will accomplish His purposes!
