The Souther Tour...Take Two

The HIGHLIGHT of the Southern Tour this time...had to have been Lucy Mae's baptism!
She was baptized at Indian Springs Campmeeting...the first Saturday of Camp with her dear friends and precious family. What a love gift these two ladies are from Jesus and what a joy to give them back to Him!!!
Grand-daddy baptized Lucy!

The very proud big sister prayed for Lucy before we went to the Tabernacle for the service, that she "would not be afraid of the baptist or cry!"
We still have a lot to learn but it's really cute to be 2 1/2 and 1!

The great news is...she wasn't afraid and didn't cry...she kept touching her hair...she liked the water falling down over her!

SO MUCH FUN at Indian Springs Campmeeting...to not only be able to see so many friends and supporters, but to be with family too!!!
The Cousins!

Elsie Jayne shared the story of Jesus calming the storm from the pulpit as well as some of her Bible verses! We may have an evangelist on our hands!!!

After campmeeting we headed south to southern Flordia where we got to see our sister Susannah's home and be with her family a few days!

Just enough time for a quick fishing trip and then off for more adventures...

Lucy, with the help of her dad....examines her catch!, a little minnow who didn't live too long in her chubby little hands!

A very pleased fisherwoman with Princess Pole!

Relaxing with daddy on the dock.

Spending time with friends in the mountains of Northeast Georgia!
Fairlight and I with some of our kids...Jesus has been so kind to bless us with babies!!!
JOY! JOY! JOY!

Dear dear friends...Bill and Suzanne Dover

Elsie Jayne was so pleased to get to play with Kia and Mugisha...friends from Uganda that now live in Knoxville, TN with our friends, the Ironsides.

We were all really happy to get to reconnect with these dear friends who spent two years in Uganda...our first two...so we have a LOT of happy and intense memories together!
Pamela and her two youngest with Joanna and our girls.

Precious Jeannie Banter...it's always nice to be with someone whose called our home home, "home" too!!!

We praise Jesus for all of these happy memories and so many more when we missed having the camera with us! We are beyond exhausted and all have a tummy bug, but we got to see so many dear friends and share amazing moments with so many.
We love you all with all our hearts.

Jan-I know you have just under a month before you head back and I wanted you to know that I am praying for you that you will have the grace and strength for this last "push" before you travel back to Uganda, and then that God will help you as you get settled. You have been on my mind and in my prayers...
